About Top Fund Holdings
Top Fund Holdings reads Form 13F-HR filings from SEC EDGAR and shows what large managers report holding. Figures are the filer’s own share counts and values, aggregated so one CUSIP is one position. Calls and puts stay separate and are not added into the common-stock share count.
A 13F-NT is a notice that the manager had nothing to report. It does not wipe the previous portfolio. When a manager changes its filing company, the older CIK stays attached. Pershing Square Capital Management, L.P. (CIK 1336528) and Pershing Square Inc. (CIK 2026053) are one history.
Estimated cost is the 13F-implied average: shares added in a quarter are priced at that quarter’s reported value divided by shares, and trims reduce cost in proportion. It is not a tax lot and it is not a quote. “First held” is the oldest loaded quarter of the current uninterrupted streak. The label is that quarter when an older loaded filing does not contain the position. A missing older file keeps that quarter and does not say “Before …”. “Before …” is used only when the position is still there in the oldest quarter on file.
